A lifetime in precious metals

Welcome to the world of Xing. I have been working in precious metals since the age of twelve, going on to achieve a BA (Hons) in 3D Design (Metal) at Brunel University, followed by a Post-Graduate Research Certificate in Education & Manufacturing from Sheffield Hallam University.

My work is hand-finished in contrasting shiny and matt tonal areas, expressing the natural surface qualities of the metal – nothing hidden under a patina or lacquer.

EXHIBITIONS

Shown at the Autumn Fair & Top Draw trade shows, the 100% Design Exhibition, Garrard’s Contemporary Silver Exhibition, and New Designers in Business (New York & San Francisco). Overall winner at The Young Designers Exhibition for the Ergo Cutlery.
