Whether you are looking for a bespoke engagement ring, a commissioned wedding ring band, a remount of treasured stones or an entirely original design, each piece is made by hand in gold, platinum or silver.
Designs follow the principles of the Golden Section and Fibonacci proportion that define the Xing Design style, giving every commission a natural balance and a distinctive presence.
Your stones, redesigned and reset
Many customers bring their own diamonds, emeralds and precious stones to be redesigned and reset into something new. Past commissions have included resetting family diamonds, remounting a three-stone dress ring, and creating an engagement ring around a customer’s five-sided emerald set in platinum.
Whatever the starting point, Sam works closely with you from first sketch to finished piece.

Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own stones or gold?
Yes. Many commissions redesign and re-use a customer’s own diamonds, emeralds and precious stones, and Sam has worked from metal supplied by clients.
What metals do you work in?
Gold, platinum and silver, in a range of carats, including two-tone white and yellow gold.
How long does a commission take?
It depends on the design and the materials. Timescales are confirmed with you before work begins.
How much will my commission cost?
Every commission is priced individually and quoted on request (POA). Get in touch with your idea and Sam will advise.
